(Tropical Botanic Garden and Research institute (TBGRI) conducts research in Conservation Biology, Biotechnology, Plant Taxonomy, Microbiology, Phytopharmocology, Ethno medicine and Ethopharmacology for plant improvement and utilization. TBGRI also undertakes research on medicinal plants, ornamental plants and various introduced plants of economic or aesthetic value. Field visit of the botanical garden at 1400 hrs.
Drive back to hotel at 1600 hrs

At 0900 hrs, drive to Art and Science College in Trivandrum.
Meeting and discussion with the Professors and Readers of Botany at 1000 hrs and Visit the class rooms and practical rooms of Botanical students.
Lunch at 1300 hrs
Visit the Trivandrum Museum complex botanical garden at 1400 hrs
Drive back to hotel at 1630 hrs and free for independent activities

At 0900 hrs, drive to Alleppey, en-route experience different species of the tropical and water plants.
At 1300 hrs, reach at Alleppey and check in Ourland - a natural village resort, after lunch walking through the villages and learn about the plants (www.ourland.in)

At0900 hrs, drive to Art and Science College in Alleppey
At 1000 hrs meeting with the Botanical teacher and a seminar will be organized in a special subject in Botany
Lunch at 1300 hrs
Visit Alleppey area at 1400 hrs
Drive back to resort at 1630 hrs and free for independent activities.

Morning breakfast at 0800 hrs.
At0900 hrs, drive to Thekkady, en-route learn about different Plants in different altitude, as altitude start from -4 to 4300 feet.
Evening Reach Thekkady. Check in hotel and overnight stay at hotel.

Wake up early morning (0630) trekking inside the forest area.
Morning breakfast at 0900 hrs and free for independent activities
Lunch at 1300 hrs
At 1430 hrs visit the plantations and drive back to hotel.

Morning breakfast at 0800 hrs.
At 0900 hrs drive to Cochin via Vagamon, en-route visit the Tea factory
Evening reach Cochin, and free for independent activities. Overnight stay at hotel.

Morning breakfast at 0800 hrs.
And a sightseeing tour of Cochin, including Ayurveda college visit, to understand how study of botany is useful for Ayurvedic medicine.
Drive back to hotel for overnight stay.

In time check out from the hotel and you will be transferred to Cochin International Airport for your onward journey
